We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

As the Sr. Manager, BizOps Market Intelligence you will be at the forefront of identifying best-in-class solutions within the evolving landscape of customer service and artificial intelligence. You will engage actively with industry incumbents, innovative startups, and venture capitalists to understand and forecast market trends. Leveraging benchmarking and insightful research, you'll shape impactful experiments and guide the AI prototyping team in elevating our servicing experience.

In this role, you'll serve as the organization's eyes and ears in the market, bringing clarity and direction through rigorous diligence. Your work will directly inform critical decisions, accelerate innovation, and significantly enhance the customer servicing experience by harnessing cutting-edge technologies and practices.

In Your Day-to-Day Role You Will Oversee:

• Conducting external market diligence through expert interviews, comprehensive research, and competitive benchmarking.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Servicing Product, Merchant and Consumer Solutions, Business Intelligence, and broader Product Management groups.
• Present your findings to broader leadership on the SVP+ level across different business units
• Identifying, evaluating, and occasionally sourcing solutions to address major sales and servicing pain points.
• Designing actionable experiments and lead complex pilot programs to swiftly validate solutions and inform clear go/no-go decisions.

What Do You Need to Bring:

• 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, ideally with exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies, 10+ years total of work experience and Masters degree in Business or Engineering
• Proven capability to quickly grasp complex topics, perform detailed market analysis, and synthesize insights clearly and concisely.
• Fintech industry experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• A proactive, hands-on approach; comfort in working within lean teams and crafting practical, agile solutions independently.
• Exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $111,500 to $191,950

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
