Web Development

Web development is fun!  An open environment filled with collaboration between business, development and QA.  We have four web agile teams focusing on different business functions in eCommerce. We handle account management, sales tools, eCommerce and promotions sites. Our technology stack contains Java, Hybris, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Selenium and more. We are a fun group in a business moving in the right direction with technology!

Mobile Team

The mobile team's goal is to provide our 42,000+ PC Consultants wth a seamless show experience from anywhere via the Pampered Chef mobile app for iOS and Android.  Mobile is responsible for the development and maintenance of PC's native mobile applications, as well as the Hybris web services which connect it to our eCommerce platform. Using cutting edge technology, it provides new and innovative solutions to surprise and delight our Consultants and Coworkers.  Our team is dedicated to quality and continuously monitors the application along three axes: usage, performance and reliability. 

Infrastructure Team

The Infrastructure team's mission is to support Pampered Chef's global business capabilities by providing core infrastructure, highly available & scalable platforms, solutions and IT services to enable end-to-end deployment and operation of PC's eCommerce and back-office enterprise applications.  Our growing and diverse team operates within a DevOps service delivery model. A taste of cool initiatives on our solutions roadmap are on-premise physical/virtual platform to Hybrid cloud migration (SaaS/PaaS/laaS) with technologies such as Azure, AWS. 

Quality Assurance

Organized, curious, attention to detail, problem solving, investigating, testing...these are the skillsets our QA team members possess. Our focus is risk mitigation with each release to production.  We analyze requirements and user stories to create test cases around business functionality.  We build automation test suites with QTP, Java/Selenium, Java/Appium.  We use performance test tools to handle load and stress testing.  We test web, desktop, mobile apps, reports, installations, configurations, database values, APIs and more. We value hardworking people with creative minds. 

Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Team (OBIEE)

Our vision is to unify multi-fragmented systems into an enterprise view facilitating critical business decisions based on forecast/current/historical information. OBIEE enables enterprise reporting, interactive dashboards, predictive analysis, proactive intelligence and alerts. With an optimized, scalable and robust design we aim to lower the maintenance cost and increase efficiency. The OBIEE Suite provides accuracy, security and integrity of information.
