Quality Engineering Associate
Skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and testing protocols (EU REACH, ASTM, ISO, CPSIA)
- Experience with textile and yarn manufacturing processes (extruding, weaving, tufting, knitting, bonding, washing, finishing)
- Proven experience operating a product performance testing lab
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to analyze and interpret test data using statistical tools
- Clear written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and structured quality tools a plus
Responsibilities
- Execute regulatory, safety, and performance testing for new and existing products according to protocols
- Support daily lab operations: equipment setup, calibration, scheduling, and test execution
- Review labeling and testing requirements to support global market compliance and wholesale expansion
- Record, compile, and maintain accurate test data and prepare formal test reports
- Analyze test and quality data using statistical tools to identify trends and risks
- Escalate nonconforming results and coordinate corrective actions with senior team members
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase lab efficiency and test reliability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sourcing, and regulatory teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Textile Science, or related field OR equivalent industry experience
- Advanced degree in a related field is a plus

- Base salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year
- Annual bonus percentage based on role level
