- Experience or knowledge of PCB manufacturing and materials

- Statistical techniques: SPC, DOE, Six Sigma concepts
- Understanding of quality systems (ISO9000/AS9100/NADCAP) and audits

- Root cause analysis and corrective action leadership
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (25-50%)
Responsibilities
- Own continuity of supply for PCBs and related components on the Starlink program
- Audit, qualify, and onboard PCB suppliers; implement PPAP and qualification activities
- Develop supplier technical requirements and quality flow-downs for manufacturing
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions and improvement plans
- Perform supplier root-cause analyses and lead corrective/preventive actions
- Define and approve process controls for critical characteristics and SPC
- Collaborate with design, reliability, procurement, and production to resolve issues
- Recommend design/process improvements to reduce risk, cost, cycle time, and defects
- Lead projects and present status and technical reports to internal teams and suppliers
- Support sourcing decisions by assessing supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, or supply chain (preferred)
