Position Overview
This position reports to the Director, Global Benefits & Wellness and is a strategic partner on the Global Benefits COE team. This person is responsible for leading Yahoo’s international (APAC, EMEA, and AMER) benefits strategy, global wellness programs, and global time-off and leave policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage Yahoo’s global wellness strategy and programs.
Effectively partner with internal teams such as communications, employee resource groups, and People teams to ensure management of wellness programs and continuous employee education and engagement.
Provide regional oversight, strategic direction and have a strong working knowledge of international benefit programs. Identify areas of opportunities at the country levels that should be applied regionally or globally.
Maintain knowledge of and analyze government regulations, global benefit program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations, recommend and implement changes as needed.
Oversee the management of our global/regional benefits, vendor relationships, consultant relationships and contracts. Ensure local brokers are providing the operational and consultative support needed and performing at expected service levels.
Manage the team that oversees the company's global time-off and leave policies, including US LOA, disability, accommodations, etc.; ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements and implement changes as required.
Partner and collaborate with local and regional teams across Yahoo (e.g., HRBP’s, Payroll, Legal, Communications, People Technology, Facilities, Real Estate, Finance, Procurement etc.) in overseeing global benefit programs.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders by responding to inquiries in an accurate, timely, consistent, and professional manner.
Compile, analyze and prepare reporting data for various benefit programs including employee, plan financials for strategic benefits planning and evaluation for data driven decision making by senior leadership.
Interprets policies and procedures and serves as a single point of contact for complex employee inquiries.
Support M&A HR activities for any due diligence and/or integration activities as needed.
Work with Corporate Finance to develop, recommend and monitor budget allocations for associated benefits.
Oversee daily operations, set strategic goals for direct report, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Support benefits team project management as needed.
Qualifications:
8+ years of benefits experience with at least 3 years of international experience required.
Expertise in benefit programs management for a mid to large organization (with at least 2k+ ee’s) including administration, compliance, employee wellness education/engagement, data analytics & financials.
Experience working at a US-based multinational company, across time zones and cross functional teams
Project management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines/deliverables.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal & external partners.
Ability to interface with all levels of employees.
Ability to prioritize and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational and project management skills.
Strong reporting and data analytics skills. Ability to analyze complex benefits program design.
Must be comfortable using Excel or other applications to analyze data. Ability to gather, check and analyze complex information and data and effectively communicate findings.
Continuous focus to monitor and create efficiencies, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work collaboratively across internal teams to provide effective customer service to employees.
Results driven & problem-solver.
Strong business acumen with ability to engage and inform key stakeholders as needed.
Will take the initiative to drive projects forward even under ambiguous circumstances.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
