Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments and routine treatments
- Coordinate, supervise and evaluate resident care with the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure safety for residents and nursing staff and follow facility policies
- Communicate effectively with physicians, family members, and other departments
- Maintain accurate documentation and resident records
- Exhibit a positive, professional image to residents, visitors and staff
- Perform related duties and other assignments as required
Education
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- CPR certification
