Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements per GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare technical accounting memos and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Perform balance sheet reviews and monitor variances against budget and prior year.
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Drive process improvements and monitor procure-to-pay, budgeting, reporting, and transfer pricing.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and filings.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support senior management with financial modeling and strategic decision making.
- Evaluate and implement accounting software enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by Controller or CFO.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or Master of Accounting preferred.
