We developed the first Domain Specific Language (DSL) for fully representing regulatory requirements in AI code. This DSL, deployed with our enterprise platform, enables Norm clients to transform workflows and apply compliance checks at the source of business activities.

This Role
We’re looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial attorney with 4–7 years of experience to join our growing Legal team. This is not your typical in-house role. It’s a high-leverage position for someone who thrives on owning deals end-to-end, and working cross-functionally to structure, negotiate, and close high-impact deals with speed and precision.
You’ll work across the full spectrum of commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and more. You’ll support transactions with some of the most significant and advanced companies in tech and finance. Your day-to-day will involve deep dives into complex negotiations, driving urgency, spotting and solving legal friction points, and serving as a force-multiplier for the business.

Core Responsibilities
Own end-to-end review and negotiation of commercial agreements, including MSAs, Order Forms, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and other key deal documents.
Collaborate closely with go-to-market teams to drive deals from inception to close, often on tight timelines.
Serve as a cross-functional connector by partnering with Legal, Finance, Product, and Engineering to align legal execution with business strategy.
Help develop internal playbooks, fallback language, and scalable contract frameworks to support rapid growth.
Contribute to the evolution of our legal operations and product strategy, including how we structure and review agreements, and leverage our own platform in the process.
Act as a thought partner to the business: practical, decisive, and always one step ahead.
Skills and Experience
A licensed attorney with 4–7 years of hands-on experience, ideally from a leading law firm (tech transactions or commercial practice) or a fast-paced in-house environment.
You’ve been the primary driver on deal negotiations. You don’t just mark up paper, you move the deal forward and can manage competing priorities in a dynamic setting.
You’re fast, pragmatic and fearless in redlines, while staying aligned with the business at all times.
You’re energized by problem-solving and process design, especially where legal meets product. And you’re comfortable switching contexts from high-stakes negotiations to contract automation workflows.
You’re entrepreneurial by nature. You like to build, improve, and operate at the edge of your comfort zone.
Bonus points if you’ve supported B2B SaaS or worked in a company with complex data or AI products and understand the nuance of regulatory, compliance and security-forward environments.
Comp and Benefits
$175,000-225,000 a year
The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills (as uncovered during the interview process), experience, and relevant education or training.
