- 5–8 years managing classified government defense programs or leading cross-functional teams supporting large-scale classified programs.
- Experience with classified operations, contracting, FAR-based acquisition, and multi-vendor performance-based environments.
- Familiarity with IT security frameworks (e.g., NIST) and classified system accreditation processes (e.g., ATOs).
- Proven stakeholder coordination and communication skills in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with subcontractor management, resource allocation, and program risk management.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison and single point of contact between Nooks, government sponsors, and enabling agencies to maintain mission alignment and clear communications.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, onboarding, performance management, and relationship management to ensure delivery against program objectives.
- Hire, lead, and manage Nooks personnel assigned to the program, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Manage full program lifecycle including planning, execution, schedule tracking, milestone reporting, performance monitoring, and delivery.
- Coordinate program operations: schedule tracking, milestone reporting, risk identification, resource allocation, and mitigation planning.
- Support customer communications and program reviews; track deliverables and respond to sponsor requests.
- Ensure compliance with programmatic, contractual, and security requirements throughout program execution.
- Proactively identify process improvements to enhance program execution and recommend mitigation plans as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Advanced degree (e.g., M.S., MPA) is a plus but not required.
