  • Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with senior government officials, federal executives, and leaders within government-adjacent sectors, overseeing the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements that deliver long-term strategic value for both parties
  • Act as the primary representative of the Scholars program in strategic discussions with government partners, advocating for placements and ensuring alignment with federal and state initiatives in national security and technology
  • Monitor government policy trends and emerging priorities that could create opportunities for Scholars placements and program growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective execution of partnership agreements and program delivery
  • Manage and mentor the Partnerships team, providing strategic oversight, professional development, and coaching to drive high performance
  • Represent the organization at public sector conferences, working groups, and high-profile government meetings

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in Business, Public Policy, Technology, or related field preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategic partnerships or program leadership, with a significant focus on government partnerships
  • Proven track record in developing high-level partnerships with government agencies or government-adjacent organizations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a growing team
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of how to align public and private sector interests
  • Experience in the federal government or organizations with a focus on national security, public policy, or emerging technologies
  • Experience with CRM systems and data management; proficiency in Salesforce is a strong plus
  • Background in or adjacency to workforce development, talent placement, or mission-driven talent initiatives
  • Exceptional public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior government officials and external stakeholders
  • Strong strategic thinking, able to balance immediate program needs with long-term partnership goals
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to have an impact on society
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment; ability to exercise flexibility and good judgment in complex situations
