Consultant, Conversational Design
Skills
- 3+ years in design or business analysis with customer-facing consulting experience
- Experience using diagramming/design tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io, etc.)
- Ability to design for voice (VUI/IVR) and text-based conversational flows
- Experience analyzing user interaction data to inform design decisions
- Comfortable presenting deliverables to business stakeholders and leading workshops
- Eagerness to learn and apply new conversational and generative AI technologies (Amazon Lex, Connect, Bedrock, Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, Dialogflow)
Responsibilities
- Design conversational speech systems and VUI across voice, chat, SMS, and email channels using Agentic AI and NLU solutions
- Lead workshops, requirement gathering, ideation sessions, and client-facing design engagements
- Create clear, development-ready conversational flows, personas, and interaction specifications
- Analyze interaction data to identify automation opportunities and recommend data-driven experience improvements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, QA, and AI teams to validate implementations meet design objectives
- Support customer adoption of Amazon Connect and Salesforce automation solutions and drive success metrics/reporting
- Incorporate business goals into experience designs that align to customer outcomes and ROI
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Communications, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
- Relevant certifications or coursework in conversational design, UX, or AI are a plus
