Responsibilities
- Lead domestic and international regulatory licensing for satellite and ground station operations including filings with ITU, FCC, and others.
- Manage spectrum coordination and interference analysis for licensing and policy efforts.
- Coordinate licensing of satellites and constellations with ground station service providers globally.
- Prepare regulatory filings including license applications, notifications, reporting, and rulemaking comments across multiple agencies.
- Assist with NOAA private remote sensing satellite licensing and compliance monitoring.
- Support export compliance efforts related to space systems ensuring adherence to ITAR and EAR regulations.
- Collaborate with internal technical, launch, and manufacturing teams to align on regulatory and compliance activities.
- Draft and review internal license compliance processes and procedures.
- Ensure regulatory activities align with company timelines and objectives through proactive cross-team engagement.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, Business, a technical discipline or graduate degree in Law.
