Skills
- Proven leadership managing network engineering and service desk teams.
- Deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization, storage, and networking.
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects and cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure security/compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure and operations strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow Network Engineering and Service Desk teams; foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of data centers, cloud environments, servers, storage, and networking.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of systems and services.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party infrastructure service providers.
- Implement and enforce ITIL-based service management for incident, problem, and change processes.
- Drive service level monitoring and continuous improvement of response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Information Security on compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to translate technical initiatives into business value.
- Champion end-user enablement, adoption, documentation, and training to reduce Service Desk dependency.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required.
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, cloud certifications) preferred.
