Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly competent, compassionate Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for our pharmacy located at St. John's Episcopal Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PIC with leadership experience, to join an outstanding team of dedicated professionals, while managing a pharmacy and support staff. The pharmacy is managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX.

The pharmacy team will be an integral part of the care team for each patient. So, you would have a direct hand in improving outcomes. St. John’s Episcopal Hospital is the only hospital providing emergency and ambulatory care to the densely populated, culturally and economically diverse, and medically underserved populations of the Rockaways and Five Towns in southern Queens County and southwestern Nassau County, New York. Celebrating over 110 years of community care, the 257-bed facility provides people of all faiths with comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative services, regardless of ability to pay.
The Pharmacy Manager (PIC) directs and coordinates all pharmacy activities, including clinical services, performance improvement, dispensing, and the purchasing, receipt and storage of pharmaceuticals. Collaborates with upper level management in order to ensure the deliverance of high quality pharmacy services and safe, effective, and appropriate medication treatment.
The targeted compensation range for this position is $170,000-175,000 per year, depending on experience.

Education: Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy. PharmD is preferred. Licensed to practice pharmacy in New York.
Experience: Three years pharmacy experience. One-year managerial experience preferred.
