Join Marvell’s Failure Analysis team, where we lead root cause investigations for customer returns and internal failures of all Marvell products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external labs to drive timely resolutions and implement robust corrective actions.What You Can Expect
Perform in-depth failure analysis (FA) on optical modules returned by customers or flagged internally.
Debug optical, mechanical, and electrical aspects of optical modules.
Use schematics, test equipment, switches, and fault isolation tools to identify root causes.
Lead cross-functional investigations and prepare customer-facing 8D reports.
Ensure timely FA turnaround for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Optics, , Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience. ▪ Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.
Strong understanding of optical module design and testing methodologies.
Proficient in 8D problem-solving methodology.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience debugging optical modules from component to application level.
Experience reviewing PCB layouts and schematics.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Background in physical failure analysis and working with external vendors or labs.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
136,880 - 205,000, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
