The Role
We are hiring a Commercialization Manager to strengthen Mariana’s commercial execution across procurement, sales, and vendor relationships. This role ensures that our projects and operating sites have the supplier agreements, customer relationships, and commercial processes needed to succeed.
In this position, you will negotiate direct material supply agreements, support sales and new customer development, and oversee vendor performance across consumables and utilities. You will also build procurement and sales processes that establish a foundation for long-term efficiency and growth. This is a high-impact position with visibility across the organization, from site operations to executive leadership.
What You’ll Do
Lead procurement for new projects and support procurement at operating sites, including supplier sourcing, pricing, contract negotiations, and vendor management
Contribute to commercial activities across product sales, from identifying customers and supporting qualification to participating in negotiations and regional strategy
Develop the policies, templates, and processes that make supplier negotiations and customer engagements consistent, efficient, and scalable
Partner with internal teams to establish a center of excellence for commercial operations, covering both procurement and sales
Produce concise, well-structured documents and presentations for executives, partners, and customers
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in commercial operations, procurement, or sales in industrials, manufacturing, or materials
Strong negotiation skills, with a proven record of securing favorable agreements with suppliers or customers
Experience building commercial systems and processes; ability to learn new tools quickly
Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication skills across levels and functions, including working with suppliers, customers, site teams, and leadership
Comfort working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment with shifting priorities
