Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies for R&D categories including compute infrastructure, cloud platforms, human data annotation, research software, and emerging AI technologies
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify optimal supplier strategies and emerging opportunities
- Create total cost of ownership (TCO) models and strategic business cases for complex R&D technology investments
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with cloud providers, GPU manufacturers, research platform vendors, and data annotation services
- Lead and manage complex RFPs, master agreements, enterprise partnerships, and multi-year contract negotiations
- Establish supplier performance frameworks, scorecards, and innovation/collaboration programs
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Legal, and Security to align sourcing with research roadmaps and compliance requirements
- Present sourcing recommendations, business cases, and contract terms to executive leadership
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
