colleagues were cool, but constant turnover makes it hard to build a solid team. you train someone up and then they’re gone.

as a dev, I appreciate the up-to-date tools and tech. sometimes priorities shift too often, but the flexibility and autonomy make up for it.

Work-life balance is pretty decent. I can log off at a normal time most days. Would like to see more career progression paths laid out, especially for mid-level staff.

coworkers are chill, but you can tell everyone’s just trying to keep their head above water. not much room for growth unless you’re in with management.

Was invited to interview after recruiter reached out. Unfortunately didn’t make it past the hiring manager interview. I interviewed mainly because it’s Anthropic but haven’t interviewed in a while so was pretty rusty. All in all, a bummer that I didn’t make it past more rounds, but the team was encouraging and was open to me applying again in the future.

Started with a take home assignment which was fair game. Then had an interview with the team and that one felt a bit rushed like that already had someone in mind. I was proven right when they rejected me a few days later. In retrospect I should’ve asked more questions before I started the process. Felt like a number in a pipeline, just then checking the box.
