We are seeking a strategic and operationally minded Vice President of Operations to lead and scale our Business Operations, Ad Operations, and Creative Operations functions. Reporting to the CFO, this role will serve as a key partner to leadership across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance. The VP of Operations will be responsible for aligning cross-functional initiatives, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring high-performance execution across core teams.
This is a highly visible role that demands a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands-on leadership. You will oversee a range of business-critical functions including procurement, facilities, campaign delivery, creative workflows, and company-wide business planning while championing the thoughtful application of automation and AI to drive scalability and efficiency.
This role may require occasional travel between Madhive’s offices to support cross-regional alignment, team leadership, and strategic planning.
What you’ll do:
Team Leadership & Department Oversight
Lead the AdOps, Business Operations, RevOps, Creative Ops, and Partner Integrations teams, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Drive alignment across these functions to streamline workflows, optimize performance, and strengthen cross-functional execution across internal and external partners.
Bring a proven track record of building, scaling, and managing large, globally distributed teams with a focus on performance, accountability, and growth while introducing automation to remove bottlenecks and increase team leverage.
Coach and scale team leads while aligning department priorities with overall company goals.
Build and refine org structure, resource allocation, and succession planning across departments.
Ad Operations
Oversee the end-to-end execution and optimization of ad campaigns across CTV, display, video, audio, and more.
Drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and excellence through process improvements and tooling.
Partner with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering to enhance campaign outcomes and advance our automated media buying capabilities.
Maintain vendor relationships and manage budget and resource planning across global AdOps functions.
Business & Creative Operations
Manage key operational areas including procurement, real estate, office management, and vendor relations.
Lead the strategic planning and execution of company-wide initiatives like Quarterly Business Reviews and All-Hands meetings.
Ensure Creative Operations processes are aligned with campaign delivery timelines and brand standards, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
Build scalable systems and workflows to support rapid growth and cross-functional execution.
Strategic & Operational Excellence
Establish and track KPIs across operational functions to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Serve as a thought partner to the CFO and executive team in aligning operational activities with business goals.
Identify and implement lean processes and best practices across teams to eliminate friction and improve ROI.
Stay ahead of industry trends and internal growth needs to proactively identify operational gaps or opportunities.
Who you are:
10–15 years of progressive experience in operations, ad tech, or media with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrated success managing AdOps, Creative Ops, or similar operational functions in a high-growth company.
Track record of implementing automation or AI-driven process improvements that delivered measurable gains in efficiency or output.
Proven ability to lead, scale, and mentor large, multi-functional global teams.
Deep understanding of the ad tech ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, ad servers) and digital media campaign lifecycles.
Experience in procurement, facilities management, and company-wide planning.
Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing teams.
Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and executive communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with a bias for action and data-driven decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
