Sr. Systems Training Specialist – ERP
Skills
- Hands-on SAP/ERP experience (EWM, IM, SuccessFactors or comparable modules)
- Experience designing and delivering technical training for adults
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, etc.)
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and how ERP supports operations
- Experience maintaining training/demo systems and troubleshooting
- Experience measuring training effectiveness and producing adoption metrics
- Comfort working across time zones and with geographically distributed teams
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive SAP training curricula (EWM, IM, SuccessFactors, DevOps, etc.).
- Create engaging training materials: user guides, video tutorials, hands-on exercises, and assessments.
- Partner with ERP admins, engineering managers, and business leaders to identify and prioritize training needs.
- Deliver training via classroom, virtual sessions, one-on-one coaching, and self-paced modules.
- Customize content for engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business role-specific workflows.
- Maintain training environments and demo systems for hands-on learning.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot user issues during training.
- Develop and track metrics for training effectiveness, adoption, and competency.
- Benchmark programs against industry standards and implement continuous improvements.
- Manage training schedules to support onboarding and ongoing skill development.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related technical field (required)
- Training or instructional design certification (preferred)
- SAP certifications (EWM, IM, SuccessFactors, etc.) (preferred)
