As the Brand Discovery Team Leader, you will lead a team of specialists to develop and execute innovative, data-driven organic search strategies that elevate the visibility and performance of Kimberly-Clark brands across digital and e-commerce platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping how our brands show up in an evolving search landscape, including AI-generated search, voice assistants, and social platforms, by driving content excellence, technical SEO, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in aligning organic and paid search efforts, enhancing product discoverability, and improving conversion outcomes across platforms like Google, Amazon, Walmart, and Target. Through strategic leadership, agency management, and talent development, you will help build a future-ready search capability that keeps pace with consumer behavior and digital innovation.
In this role, you will:
Lead a team of Brand Discovery Leads and eCommerce Copywriters to develop & execute holistic organic search strategies for Kimberly-Clark brands to improve their organic search ranking on key platforms like Google, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, etc.
Lead the team of Brand Discovery Leads to enhance product listings and brand presence on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target to improve retail media ROIs through better conversions.
Demonstrate breakthrough thinking to ensure Kimberly-Clark brands show up competitively in rapidly evolving search areas like AI generated search overviews, virtual assistant responses & social search.
Coach the Brand Discovery Leads to assess and make proactive content topic and content recommendations based upon white space analysis (e.g. search volume and competitive density) aligned with platform-specific SEO best practices and brand objectives.
Build & deploy standard work practices to generate insights based on comprehensive keyword research & monitoring of competition search strategies to identify content or CX opportunities for Kimberly-Clark brands.
Lead effectively with cross-functional teams (Brand, Sales, Omni-marketing, IT, Content Syndication, Commercial Analytics, Agencies & Vendors) to drive synergies between organic & paid search, leading to better brand discovery and conversions.
Work with IT to establish, monitor and optimize technical search benchmarks, performance measures and associated optimization strategies.
Lead the agency (SEO as well as content) relationships for brand.com SEO including SOW development & alignment, commercial negotiations & ongoing performance management.
Manage the team of Brand Discovery Leads including recruitment, talent development, coaching & succession planning.
Help build organizational talent through creation & delivery of learning materials that cover different search algorithms, content best practices & performance monitoring.
Demonstrate expert proficiency with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, MOZ, etc.) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or eCommerce, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or team management role.
Proven success in developing and executing organic search strategies across both brand-owned and
third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target).
Demonstrated expert proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, BrightEdge, Ahrefs) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Strong understanding of AI-driven search, social search, and emerging digital discovery platforms.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with marketing, IT, analytics, and external agencies to drive integrated search strategies.
Skilled in content strategy, keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance benchmarking.
Experience managing agency relationships, including scope development, performance tracking, and
commercial negotiations.
Strong coaching and talent development skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to
influence across levels and functions.

Salary Range: 173,400 – 214,200 USDAt Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow.
