Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end billing processes using contract terms, program rules, and service volumes to prepare invoices.
- Generate and issue invoices per billing schedules and contract requirements for drug spend and ancillary services.
- Enter and validate billing data in financial systems; ensure accuracy across multiple sources.
- Reconcile billing records between internal platforms (ERP, adjudication systems) and resolve discrepancies.
- Review contracts and internal documentation to confirm billable items and correct pricing.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments using SQL or data query tools as needed.
- Support internal audits by providing organized billing records and documentation.
- Document billing procedures, maintain files, and escalate unresolved issues to senior finance staff.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, process redesign, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to company Code of Conduct and report non-compliance as required.
Education
- Undergraduate bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative field preferred
- OR equivalent PBM or relevant experience
