Sr. Document Control Specialist - US Only

This role is ideal for a meticulous and organized professional responsible for managing and maintaining critical documentation supporting quality management and regulatory compliance. You will ensure that technical and business records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible, while supporting audits, process improvements, and cross-functional teams. The position provides the opportunity to work in a remote environment, contributing to the integrity and efficiency of a regulated industry. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of quality system regulations, and effective communication skills are essential to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth operations across product development and business processes. This role combines regulatory adherence with proactive process improvement, making it integral to overall organizational quality.

Accountabilities

• Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Document Management System (DMS).
• Ensure technical documentation and filings are complete, current, and properly routed, approved, and stored.
• Support audits, including regulatory, customer, and internal inspections.
• Enforce compliance with applicable standards and escalate issues to appropriate authorities when needed.
• Assist with general tasks to support the maintenance and enhancement of the Quality Management System.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation reflects current practices and operational requirements.

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably FDA-regulated or Software as a Medical Device.
• Experience creating and maintaining paper and electronic records.
• Basic knowledge of Quality System Regulations (e.g., 21 CFR 11, 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485).
• Experience interacting with Regulatory Authorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

• Competitive salary range: $80,000 – $88,000 per year.
