Senior Software QA Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software applications in a fast-growing, data-driven environment. You will lead the design and implementation of test strategies across multiple platforms and technologies, collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role balances hands-on technical work with strategic leadership, including defining test cases, integrating new features, and optimizing automation processes. Your work will directly impact product stability, data integrity, and customer satisfaction, providing an opportunity to shape QA standards across a mission-critical platform.

Accountabilities

• Define comprehensive test strategies for software products, covering functional, end-to-end, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain test suites and cases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Implement and manage automation test cases within CI/CD pipelines using Python.
• Participate in code and test automation reviews to enhance software quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to integrate new features and validate complex data applications.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and data systems to ensure accurate and reliable operations.
• Validate APIs, database systems, and microservices architectures to ensure seamless product functionality.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA processes for both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as GitLab, Postman, and Python.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL) and data validation practices.
• Familiarity with microservices, containerization, API gateways, and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating findings and collaborating with multiple teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
