This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer in the United States.

The Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in enabling merchant success by translating complex business objectives into scalable technical solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with Sales, Implementation, and Success teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with each merchant’s unique requirements and industry segment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and customer empathy to design and implement solutions that drive measurable business impact. You will collaborate closely across teams to ensure seamless product adoption, guide technical discovery, and contribute to product innovation while maintaining high standards of operational excellence. The position offers an environment that rewards proactive problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous professional growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with merchants to understand their business objectives and design tailored technical solutions.
  • Support key sales processes including demos, RFPs, warehouse tours, and technical evaluations, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
  • Conduct technical discovery within merchant environments to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and guide solution design.
  • Develop and communicate technical vision and implementation roadmaps, ensuring timely, on-budget product launches.
  • Partner with Implementation Specialists and cross-functional teams to execute rollouts effectively and maintain accountability.
  • Maintain deep expertise in industry trends, service offerings, and competitive landscape to position value effectively.
  • Provide feedback to inform product strategy and advocate for merchant needs in alignment with product roadmap.

  • 5–7 years of experience in merchant-facing technical roles within SaaS or e-commerce environments.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business challenges into technical solutions that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in APIs, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby), with the ability to communicate technical decisions in business terms.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and storytelling skills to build trust and align diverse audiences.
  • Experience developing scalable frameworks, documentation, and best practices to optimize Sales Engineering operations.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Competitive salary range: $83,078–$138,463 USD, plus eligibility for discretionary bonus plan.
