This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and operationalization of cutting-edge deep learning frameworks and AI services at scale. The Senior Python DL Automation Engineer will focus on automating testing, benchmarking, and deployment of AI models across large-scale GPU clusters, ensuring robust, high-performance solutions. You will collaborate with internal engineering teams, users, and the open-source community to implement tools and infrastructure that streamline the end-to-end AI lifecycle. The role demands both technical excellence in Python and deep learning as well as strong problem-solving skills, organization, and the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Accountabilities:

·         Automate and optimize testing of deep learning models and AI services, with an emphasis on inference performance.

·         Develop shared utilities and frameworks for system setup, running tests, and recording results.

·         Configure, maintain, and enhance deployments of industry-standard AI tools.

·         Establish best practices for building, testing, and releasing AI services and deep learning models, including comprehensive documentation.

·         Identify infrastructure and tooling needs, translating them into actionable solutions.

·         Build automation tools for content generation and testing that significantly reduce engineering effort.

·         Collaborate across teams to operationalize AI models and services both on-prem and in cloud environments.

·         BSc or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Architecture, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience).

·         5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong Python programming and system design skills.

·         Solid understanding of deep learning principles to support benchmarking of DL models and AI services.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

·         Effective time management and ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities.

·         Excellent communication, open-minded collaboration, and clear documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience in Linux environments and containerization technologies.

·         Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, large-scale automation, and deployment orchestration.

·         Familiarity with Python front-end and back-end frameworks.

·         Hands-on experience with HPC clusters and orchestration tools such as Slurm or Kubernetes.

·         Knowledge of cloud services, MLOps, DevOps, SRE practices, and AI agentic tools.

·         Competitive base salary: $148,000–$287,500 USD depending on level, experience, and location.
