This role provides an opportunity to step into a Product Owner position within a fast-paced software development environment. You will take ownership of client-requested system enhancements, guiding solutions from requirements gathering through delivery and post-release optimization. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, development teams, and clients, you will define effective, scalable solutions that align with business goals. The position emphasizes critical thinking, prioritization, and hands-on involvement in all stages of the product lifecycle. Accountabilities

As a Software Product Owner, you will:

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal stakeholders, and development teams.
• Translate client requests into clear, actionable system enhancement specifications.
• Evaluate requests to propose optimal solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and available resources.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in hands-on testing and validate that features deliver the intended outcomes.
• Monitor post-release performance and recommend improvements to optimize functionality.
• Develop subject matter expertise in operational systems and the premium finance domain.

Candidates should have:

• 7+ years of experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements for software products.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, influencing product delivery.
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to define optimal solutions, not just document requests.
• Experience working with SaaS or enterprise-level platforms in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of insurance, premium finance, or financial services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
