This role offers a rare opportunity to work directly with executive leadership to drive high-impact technology initiatives across a complex healthcare ecosystem. You will join a small, interdisciplinary technical staff to design, build, and deploy systems that leverage data, generative AI, and full-stack engineering to improve outcomes and efficiency. Accountabilities:
· Build end-to-end systems from concept to production, spanning backend infrastructure, data pipelines, machine learning, and user interfaces.
· Prototype and validate new ideas using generative AI and data-driven approaches.
· Design scalable and maintainable solutions that form the foundation for long-term technical systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, learning from historical system implementations and shared best practices.
· Deliver high-value projects in line with executive priorities and measurable business outcomes.
· Participate in experimentation and iterative improvements, enhancing reliability and performance of systems.
· Contribute to a culture of learning, mentorship, and collaboration within a small, elite technical team.
· Demonstrated experience building and shipping software systems across web, data, mobile, ML, or desktop applications.
· Strong knowledge of data systems, including relational databases, data modeling, data warehousing, and data processing.
· Practical engineering mindset with focus on business impact and scalable solutions.
· Experience experimenting with or building systems leveraging generative AI or advanced ML approaches.
· Excellent collaboration, humility, and adaptability; able to thrive in dynamic environments.
· Effective communication skills, comfortable working directly with leadership and cross-disciplinary teams.
· Preferred: San Francisco Bay Area residency or ability to work in-person 1-2 days per week; prior experience in high-impact startups is a plus.
