We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join a dynamic AI/ML team focused on transforming healthcare claims and payment operations. In this role, you will design, implement, and scale advanced AI and machine learning systems that drive automation and efficiency across complex workflows. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to bring cutting-edge technologies such as LLM prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents into production. Accountabilities:

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Building and deploying production AI/ML systems to accelerate healthcare claims and payment workflows.
• Collaborating with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to implement robust, end-to-end solutions.
• Developing systems to enable high-velocity experimentation and scalable AI pipelines.
• Automating complex review types and reducing manual audit review times using NLP and ML techniques.
• Implementing advanced AI approaches, including AI agents, to support increasingly complex workflows.
• Ensuring production readiness with high-quality, tested, and maintainable code.

Candidates should have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production AI/ML solutions, preferably in collaboration with Data Scientists.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java/Scala or similar languages.
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with big-data technologies and production-grade AI/ML systems.
• Strong test-writing discipline and ability to maintain high code quality.
• Ability to read, understand, and improve complex enterprise-grade codebases.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Passion for applying AI to achieve higher efficiency and accuracy than human counterparts.
