Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services and APIs for Pinner-facing features
- Lead product development from ideation through prototyping, A/B testing, and production rollout
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end functionality
- Architect solutions for scale, performance, and reliability across distributed systems
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure high technical quality
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems
- Partner with engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable designs
- Continuously improve developer workflows, coding standards, and operational processes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field (or foreign equivalent)
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in software engineering or a related field
