Software Engineer, Backend

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core cloud services and infrastructure supporting large-scale AI-enabled systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly scalable backend architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and observability platforms that power real-world deployments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, SRE, and product teams, to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based services. Accountabilities:

The Backend Engineer will be responsible for:

• Defining, building, and operating the next generation of backbone services architecture for cloud-based platforms.
• Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for physical devices and cloud services.
• Implementing infrastructure-as-code for multi-region AWS deployments at scale.
• Enforcing best practices in DevOps, SRE, and security across the engineering team.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Leading initiatives to improve incident prevention, response, and remediation.

Candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience with deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, Lambda, etc.
• Professional experience in Golang or Python, with strong preference for Golang.
• Experience with relational, time-series, and document databases, including SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of issues to drive them to resolution.
• Knowledge of best practices in designing, using, and testing web services and APIs.
• Comfortable in an agile, fast-paced environment with the ability to organize complex workflows efficiently.
