This role offers a unique opportunity to lead solution engineering efforts for public sector clients, focusing on state and local government initiatives. The Lead Account Solution Engineer partners with sales teams, product specialists, and customers to develop innovative, technically sound solutions that drive digital transformation and AI-enabled CRM adoption. The position requires translating complex business needs into actionable solutions, delivering compelling presentations, and guiding clients through the full lifecycle of technology implementation. Candidates will act as trusted advisors, demonstrating both technical and strategic expertise, while collaborating across cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and continuous learning while contributing to measurable customer success and adoption.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and coordinate solution engineering throughout the sales cycle, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
  • Develop, configure, and present custom demos and technical solutions to key stakeholders, showcasing business value and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with account executives, product specialists, and partners to translate customer needs into actionable technical strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, understanding industry-specific challenges and delivering consultative guidance.
  • Respond efficiently to RFPs and provide technical insights to support the sales process.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to maintain expertise in AI, CRM, and emerging technologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior solution engineers to enhance team performance and capability.

  • 5+ years combined experience working with Salesforce or other CRM solutions.
  • 3+ years in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or customer success for enterprise software solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience working with public sector agencies.
  • Salesforce or other certifications related to AI, specifically generative AI or LLM concepts, are highly desirable.
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience implementing digital transformation strategies and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, team-oriented environments while managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical, curious, and practical mindset with a passion for technology and knowledge sharing.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and events.
