This role provides a unique opportunity to shape and scale the identity and authentication systems that power complex, multi-product environments. You will work on large-scale distributed systems, API design, phased data migrations, and persistent storage, contributing to the foundational infrastructure that enables secure and reliable user experiences. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, technical leadership, and mentorship, as well as hands-on engineering to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-performance platform services. • Accountabilities:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a highly skilled engineering team, driving high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with product engineering and internal teams to implement identity-related use cases across multiple products.
• Mentor junior engineers and partner with engineering managers to develop a successful, high-performing team.
• Ensure software and architecture excellence through code reviews, risk mitigation, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain reliability and support for platform services, ensuring uptime and performance standards.
• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive team culture while championing company values and best practices in engineering.
• Execute on system-focused roadmaps for distributed systems at scale, including phased implementation and operational considerations.

• Requirements:
• 5+ years of software engineering or related industry experience.
• BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Proven experience supporting high QPS platform services in production.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for cross-functional interactions.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Preferred experience with infrastructure software engineering and identity/authentication systems (OAuth, SSO, OIDC, SAML, MFA, RBAC).
• Familiarity with Python and GoLang is a plus.
