Responsibilities
- Partner with product and engineering teams to improve product security and exceed customer expectations
- Design and build security and privacy platform services for the Command SaaS platform
- Drive adoption of platform services across product teams and expand Enterprise-Controlled Encryption usage
- Collaborate with the CISO to grow company-wide security programs and initiatives
- Write production code, contribute to system design, and maintain high standards for scalability and reliability
- Mentor and manage engineers, provide technical leadership, and recruit top talent
- Represent Verkada externally through conferences, presentations, blogs, and open-source contributions
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent required
- Advanced degree in a related field preferred but not required
