This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Head of Performance Media in the United States.

As Head of Performance Media, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of multi-channel performance media campaigns, including Paid Search, Programmatic & CTV, Social & Retail Media, and Ad Operations. You will manage a globally distributed team of media professionals, driving client results while ensuring practice profitability and operational excellence. This role combines leadership, analytical insight, and hands-on expertise in digital marketing ecosystems to shape the future of performance media offerings. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and services teams to deliver scalable solutions, optimize client ROI, and influence industry best practices. Your impact will extend to mentoring talent, establishing performance benchmarks, and contributing to the overall growth of the media practice.

Accountabilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of performance media professionals across Paid Search, Programmatic, CTV, Social & Retail Media, and Ad Operations.
  • Oversee targeting strategies and media planning for a portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining margin goals.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, adapting to evolving digital media trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Services) to achieve strategic business outcomes.
  • Drive actionable insights and dashboards for performance monitoring across accounts and practice areas.
  • Contribute to global thought leadership by developing scaled insights, reporting frameworks, and tools to optimize media performance.
  • Proven senior leadership experience within a digital marketing agency or in-house performance media team.
  • Deep expertise in two or more of the following: Paid Search (Google Ads), Programmatic, CTV, Social Media, and Ad Operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, interpret data, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire globally distributed teams.
  • Experience developing and executing complex go-to-market strategies in digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of solving complex business challenges.
  • Competitive salary range: $185,000 – $250,000 annually, with semi-annual individual bonus and year-end company bonus potential.
