Engineering Manager (Remote)

Accountabilities

As Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff to strengthen project delivery capabilities.
• Design and configure PLC/SCADA networks, integrated electrical and control systems, and related hardware.
• Specify and configure instrumentation, PLCs, communication systems, and industrial control panels.
• Oversee test procedures, documentation, and quality standards.
• Collaborate across engineering, design, production, and field service functions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
• Manage project budgets and schedules while contributing to business growth strategies.
• Drive profit and loss (P&L) performance for the team and support long-term growth planning.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls integration.
• At least 3 years of leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in developing PLC and HMI programs (Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Ignition, Aveva, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of process controls instrumentation and standard engineering practices.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for client and project needs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate industrial sites (stairs, ladders, prolonged standing).
