Director of Engineering (Worklist)

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee the development of innovative, high-impact software solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical guidance, driving AI-powered transformation of critical worklists in healthcare. You will lead multiple engineering teams, mentor managers and individual contributors, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality software. Accountabilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Define technical strategy, guide solution architecture, and build scalable, reliable platforms.
• Set clear objectives, remove obstacles, and ensure delivery of high-impact projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Drive adoption of best practices in development processes, DevOps, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, and team development to build a high-performing engineering organization.

• BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of production-level software engineering experience, including technical leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience managing and growing engineering teams.
• Strong full-stack development background, preferably with Python, JavaScript, AWS, and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience guiding technical teams on architecture, system scalability, and performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver software solutions in fast-paced or complex environments.
• Experience in healthcare technology or software solutions for critical operational workflows is highly desirable.
