Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core vehicle software for control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, controls, simulation, test) to integrate software with vehicles and sensors.
- Develop and optimize data processing and analysis pipelines for real-time and offline workflows.
- Work from simulation through first flight to deployed fleet operations, supporting testing, field integration, and troubleshooting.
- Navigate and extend complex, established codebases while ensuring performance and reliability for safety-critical subsystems.
- Support distributed communication, message standards, and scalable fleet management software.
- Travel (up to ~30%) for field tests, deployments, and integration activities.
Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
