Skills
- Proven experience building and leading teams that use a functional programming approach
- Strong Haskell and typed functional programming knowledge (or equivalent FP language experience)
- Systems architecture and large-scale system design experience
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration with hardware teams (RF, FPGA, electrical, mechanical)
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance
- Ability and willingness to relocate and work in-person at the Orange County RF laboratory
Responsibilities
- Lead teams of Haskell developers to implement high-performance, high-assurance software systems
- Define and influence EW software roadmap and architecture using functional programming and algebraic design principles
- Conduct holistic design reviews and ensure system-level correctness and maintainability
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, RF, and FPGA engineers to integrate software with hardware systems
- Recruit, mentor, and build teams to scale the functional-programming-based development approach
Education
- No specific degree required (preferred: degree in Computer Science, EE, or related field)
