Director, GTM (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of AG1. We are currently looking for a Director, GTM in the United States.

We are seeking a strategic and highly collaborative Director of Go-to-Market (GTM) to lead the launch and growth of emerging product categories. This role is responsible for defining GTM strategy, overseeing product launches, and driving exceptional customer experiences across multiple channels. The ideal candidate combines cross-functional leadership, analytical rigor, and creative problem-solving to deliver measurable business impact. You will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations teams to ensure launches are executed flawlessly and aligned with broader business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to shape category strategy, innovate across the product lifecycle, and influence senior leadership decisions.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies and roadmaps for new product categories, using customer and market insights to inform decisions.
  • Oversee all launch deliverables, including packaging, messaging, supply chain, and channel plans.
  • Champion customer empathy through research, synthesize findings, and apply insights to GTM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to define KPIs, build dashboards, and generate actionable insights for launches.
  • Coordinate strategies across DTC, Retail, Amazon, and International channels, ensuring operational readiness across supply, inventory, fulfillment, and customer experience.
  • Partner with internal teams—including Communications, Product Marketing, Customer Happiness, and Finance—to deliver comprehensive launch support, P&Ls, and training materials.
  • Enhance the product experience in collaboration with Product Development and Packaging Innovation teams, ensuring quality, sustainability, and optimized customer interactions.
  • Design and execute customer engagement campaigns, retention strategies, and win-back initiatives to maximize post-launch performance.
  • 8–10 years of experience bringing new consumer packaged goods (CPG) products to market.
  • Experience in subscription or DTC-focused businesses is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement category strategies that drive growth and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a track record of leveraging data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills.
  • Strong project management abilities with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for delivering innovative customer experiences.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies, implementing solutions, and measuring impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
