Commercial Solutions Engineer (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Tines. We are currently looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer in the United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative company focused on no-code automation solutions. As a key member of the pre-sales team, you will work closely with account executives to demonstrate how automation can solve complex security and IT challenges without requiring coding. Your technical expertise and ability to understand customer pain points will be essential to building compelling demos, managing proof-of-concept evaluations, and helping customers realize rapid value. This role is ideal for someone passionate about customer success, skilled at translating technical solutions into business impact, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop deep expertise in no-code automation and apply this knowledge to address customer challenges in security and IT operations.
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations and demos that clearly communicate the value and differentiation of automation solutions.
  • Lead the technical evaluation process with prospective customers, managing expectations throughout proofs of concept and trials.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify key use cases and support competitive account strategies.
  • Enable channel and technical partners by supporting their pre-sales activities and sharing best practices.
  • Provide market and customer feedback to product teams and contribute to the company’s knowledge base through documentation and automation stories.
  • Help refine solutions engineering operations and metrics to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a solutions engineering or sales engineering role.
  • Strong technical background, including experience working with APIs and a willingness to learn new cloud technologies.
  • Proven ability to uncover customer needs and tailor technical solutions accordingly.
  • Skilled in delivering persuasive demos and winning technical evaluations.
  • Effective communication skills, able to engage both business and technical audiences.
  • Passion for learning, open to feedback, and dedicated to client success.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer solutions.
  • Analytical mindset capable of deriving actionable insights from complex data.
  • Competitive total compensation with salary plus commission (OTE $185,000–$200,000).
  • Fully remote position requiring Eastern Time zone availability.
