Essential Responsibilities for Business Office:
• Provide professional, efficient and quality customer service to internal/external parties. Includes heavy contact with students and utilization of college systems and helpdesk tickets to research and answer questions about account charges, payments, financial aid and refunds and assist students with resolving issues.
• Utilize the College's business systems to perform accounts receivable duties in person and by phone including receiving/posting payments, daily reconciling of cash drawers, and issuing receipts.
• Daily opening and distribution of business office mail. Log payments received and forward invoices to accounts payable hub for payment.
• Enter fee remissions/tuition waivers and process transcript request payments.
• Apply, reconcile, and track student scholarship payments utilizing Excel.
• Regular generation and disposition of student credit balance and other reports.
Essential Responsibilities for Facilities Office:
• Handles purchasing for Facilities, Maintenance, and Security departments and serves as the contact person for custodial and maintenance matters.
• Coordinates Facilities office functions in a timely manner including but not limited to work order requests, key requests, assigning lockers, etc.
• Obtains Certificates of Insurance and keeps a file of incoming certificates of insurance from various agencies associated with the college.
• Manages inventory system for the Evansville Service Area and is responsible for adding, transferring, and deleting physical inventory to the system. Assist with the audits of inventory as needed.
Other Shared Responsibilities:
• Assist other departments with any procurement questions/issues and assist in entering Requisitions.
• Serves as a backup to the mail room/copy center staff during vacation or illness leaves.
• Is a member of the emergency response team in the event of inclement weather, fires, or other emergency situations and participates in various drills depicting possible emergencies such as fire drills, tornado drills, earthquake drills, etc.
Work Hours:
Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.
Hiring Range:
This role is budgeted between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum one year work experience in a professional environment.
