Large language models have unlocked the ability to solve many contract negotiation problems at scale. Our product is best-in-market (with an ~80% trial win rate) and rapidly embedding itself into the lives of its users.

Overview:

We are looking for an exceptional Design Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. You will be the first Design Engineer at Ivo and have a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping Ivo’s product, user experience, and overall design strategy. You’ll work closely with the leadership and engineering to create intuitive, user-centric designs that meet the needs of our customers. Ideally, you should be comfortable with both product design and front end engineering. 

• Have significant input into the entire design and creative process
• Deeply understand the product to create industry leading user experiences  
• Build out our front end. Champion a reusable component system
• Collaborate with our founders to define product strategy and roadmap priorities through a design lens
• Ensure we keep our quality bar high whilst shipping fast

• You have 3+ years of experience in product design/front end development
• You have proficiency in Figma and React/Next.js or other modern tooling
• You have a customer-first mindset with a passion for solving real-world problems
• You move fast and have experience in high-velocity teams.

• Love creating the perfect product experience, but you love having impact more: Our #1 goal is building the best possible product, which means making pragmatic choices and looking for 80/20 solutions.
• You would describe yourself as being relentlessly resourceful
• Have a strong internal sense of urgency. You have a bias towards doing things *today*, rather than tomorrow. 
• Have experience working in a startup environment - this is preferred but not required.
• Are excited by AI and the adventure of building a company!

• How far along are we? We launched mid-2023. Since then, we’ve had an incredible response from the market and are growing rapidly. Our clients include companies like Canva, Quora, Zapier, Eventbrite, WordPress and many Fortune 500s. We’re happy to share more details with candidates who go through our interview process.
• Can I work remotely? We require candidates to work with us in-person 5 days a week in our San Francisco office.
• Compensation: The USD salary range for this role is $150K-$230k . Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
