Skills
- Native or near-native fluency in Sindhi (reading, writing, speaking)
- Experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, or similar language work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent annotations and feedback
- Clear written and verbal communication in the working language used for instructions
- Comfortable using annotation tools, spreadsheets, and basic web-based platforms
Responsibilities
- Review and annotate Sindhi content for quality, clarity, and cultural appropriateness
- Evaluate AI-generated Sindhi outputs for grammar, syntax, semantics, style, and factual accuracy
- Identify, document, and report recurring error patterns and edge cases
- Provide corrective edits, alternative phrasings, and style guidance to improve model responses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines
- Adhere to data security, confidentiality, and contractor tool requirements
Education
- Relevant professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, or localization
- Formal degree in linguistics, language studies, translation, or related field preferred but not required
- Demonstrated portfolio or examples of linguistic work (translations, edits, curricula, annotations) preferred
