Instructure is seeking a Senior Manager of Assessment Design to lead and mentor a team in developing innovative assessment products that meet rigorous educational standards, emphasizing efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities: Drive the instructional design strategy, oversee product development, mentor a team of designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality assessment solutions.
Skills: Expertise in assessment design, strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, excellent communication, and experience with product development in the education sector.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred; 10+ years in assessment design with 4+ years in management, deep familiarity with assessment products and state guidelines required.

Compensation: $90000 - $107000 / Annually

As a senior leader with deep expertise in the assessment landscape and proven management capabilities, you will guide a team of talented Assessment Designers, ensuring our products meet rigorous standards and drive student success at scale. You will be instrumental in streamlining processes for optimal efficiency and scalability, fostering a collaborative environment, and working closely with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge assessment solutions to life. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of assessment design, content vendors, and management systems to guide your team and collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to ensure our assessment products are best-in-class.
