General Manager, Operations - East

Honor Technology is a leader in aging care innovation, combining technology and personalized in-home care through its Home Instead brand. The company seeks a data-driven, operationally focused General Manager, Operations to lead multiple service territories, drive market growth and quality outcomes, develop high-performing remote teams, and ensure excellent experiences for clients, Care Pros, and Partners.

Skills

  • Proven operations and general management experience in service-driven or growth-stage organizations
  • Demonstrated success managing and coaching remote, high-performing teams
  • Strong financial and P&L acumen with experience influencing revenue and margins
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Adaptability and decisiveness in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Experience supporting or partnering with small business owners or distributed workforces

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall market performance and quality outcomes across clients, Care Pros, and partners to meet growth and quality objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Client Managers and Care Pro Relationship Managers to sustain high performance in a remote environment.
  • Guide partner onboarding and long-term success, aligning strategic goals and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Design and improve operational systems and processes to enhance service delivery, safety, and scalability.
  • Use data to identify trends, diagnose performance gaps, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Influence financial outcomes by driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage escalated client service issues to convert negative experiences into long-term retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HQ teams to advocate for market needs and inform strategic decisions.
  • Occasional travel to markets for community events or team gatherings and operate on Eastern Time business hours.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Graduate degree (MBA, MPP, MPH or equivalent) preferred
