Responsibilities
- Lead overall legal and regulatory strategy with emphasis on compliance and litigation management.
- Manage legal and compliance teams and oversee outside counsel.
- Develop and implement regulatory positions and frameworks across federal, state, and local laws.
- Oversee capital markets legal components including fundraising documentation and negotiation.
- Manage corporate legal affairs including contracts, equity grants, and employment law.
- Advise executive leadership and Board of Directors on legal and corporate governance matters.
- Serve as chief legal spokesperson with investors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Track and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting the business.
Education
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the Bar in state of residence.
