Customer Logistics Manager – Dedicated Transportation

Compensation: $72,000 – $75,000 annually + benefits + potential bonus


We’re seeking a Customer Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a dedicated transportation account. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and customer relationship management to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring strong logistics expertise, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to manage both people and processes in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive service and expectation management.
  • Manage staffing, performance, and development for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Oversee planning and scheduling to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for the customer, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Provide off-shift support when needed for critical network disruptions or crises.

  • Strong decision-making capabilities with a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics industry operations and applicable local/federal regulations.
  • Understanding of supply chain management components and manufacturing/production processes.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Advanced logistics industry knowledge with regulatory compliance expertise.
