Sr. Insider Threat Analyst - Mid-Atlantic region (Remote - EST)

- Hands-on experience with DLP and UEBA tools and policy tuning
- Strong incident response and investigative skills across host, network, and user telemetry
- Ability to collect and interpret security data from multiple sources and identify anomalies
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems, access controls, and logging
- Scripting ability to support data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with security control frameworks and risk assessment
Responsibilities
- Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from DLP, UEBA and other monitoring tools
- Develop and tune policies, rules, and use cases for DLP and UEBA to reduce false positives and improve detection
- Coordinate incident response with SOC, digital forensics, physical security, HR, and legal as required
- Analyze telemetry and logs to identify anomalous behavior, trends, and vulnerabilities
- Integrate new data sources and telemetry to improve insider threat visibility
- Produce written reports, briefings, and training on insider incidents and program lessons learned
- Recommend mitigation strategies and security architecture or control changes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
- Or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years' experience in IT/cybersecurity
