F5 Security Engineer, TS/SCI - CI Poly
Skills
- Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and familiarity with other F5 modules
- Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and experience with UNIX/Linux variants
- Experience with routers, switches, HTTP headers, ISO layers, and TCP flags
- Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to create/manage route domains and partitions in F5 architecture
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in secure government/DoD environments and O&M activities
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier-3/4 level support and architecture for F5 environments, primarily LTM load balancing
- Design, configure, and manage F5 partitions and multiple route domains
- Lead complex troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement solutions (on-site and remote)
- Collaborate with IT administrators, engineers, and executive stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Document configurations, changes, and operational procedures for O&M
- Support integration activities across development, engineering, sustainment, and O&M
- Maintain current vendor and DoD-required certifications and compliance
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other STEM field
- Minimum of eight years of relevant hands-on experience
